Great place at a reasonable price. Allowed animals with a $20 nonrefundable fee. Great, free continental breakfast. Didn't use the pool or fitness room but both appeared to be in good shape but the pool did look a little small. Room was a little small but was nice and in great shape, looked rather new. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I got charged a $50 deposit I wasn't told about upon checking in, didn't know it until I checked the bank prior to leaving. Clerk did promptly answer questions and assured me that the right amount would be assessed upon check out and it was when I checked my account later that day.
The most comfortable room, the best service, and next to a casino, what more could you ask for!! Hot breakfast in the morning was also delicious. Overall great hotel and staff will stay again next time I pass by.
This hotel is behind a casino and I think a part of a truck stop. There's also a Subway, small pizza place (super small, like kiosk small), and a bar in another building. Our room was near the elevator which had a loud chime. Sound is an issue. There's not enough noise reduction. I could hear people talking in their room, the fan in their bathroom and *everything* in the hallway. I don't think the door meets the floor, so even if the door was soundproof sound would still come in through the 1/2 inch gap. Oh well. The woman working the front desk was super nice and the place was fine, but noise was definitely an issue.
My family and I were at this hotel when the internet was down. We went to the main office asking if there was anywhere to get cash. We needed food. The owner/manager paid for our family to eat subway and just put the amount on our room bill. The rooms were very clean and beautiful. The employees were all so nice. Thank you a wonderful stay and being so kind.
Best hotel in Vinton Louisiana. Have casino , shopping mall, Subway, private cabin, pool hall. A 5-star resort in a small town of Vinton! Loved it.
