Super folks from casino to Arbys staff. Fell asleep in car beside body after eating a pork belly sandwich and had left my spare batteries to charge on the wall outlets. Not a complaint to my being there and had my batteries charged.
The young manager that was working today around 8 AM was so amazing. I overheard him talking to victims of the Harvey hurricane who lost everything and he did everything and beyond to try to make them comfortable, even if it just meant lending a listening ear. It goes beyond your employee being courteous, he was compassionate. And that's something you can't teach to someone. Nicely done young man. Nicely done
We LOVE Love's when driving cross country...they always have the cleanest bathrooms and friendly helpful staff. Other stops do OK most of the time but Love's gets it right every time even when they are super busy. If we could we'd never stop anywhere else.
Arby's staff oblivious. Waited 5 minutes at counter while white guy on grill stared at me. I finally stepped around counter and asked the boy of color with his underwear sagging if.I could get a croissant. He begrudgingly took my order. I went to loves, washed and refilled both drinks, returned and my order still wasn't ready. When I did receive it, I returned to my truck and opened the box to find a sandwich comprised of a tiny amount of ham wadded with cheese all too one edge of a crumpled croissant. For great that it had likely been spit on, I didn't bother eating it.
I love eating at Arbys and the selection of different items at this truck stop is nice. That being said, this was one of more least enjoyable stops here. The place was very messy as far as the tables and benches are concerned. They have a lazy attitude here, I ordered onion rings and the employee served me fries. When I yelled out that I asked for onion rings, she rudely grabs the bag out of my hands and goes out of view with it by the drive through window. There was an employee mopping floors, he should have also been wiping down tables and benches. The staff in the store were much better than the Arbys employees. I will be back, only because it's the closest Arbys to home.
